We strongly condemn the slanderous statement of the US Embassy in Azerbaijan, which interferes in the internal affairs of our country. We would like to draw the attention of the US Embassy, ​​which is trying to explain the slanderous campaign against Azerbaijan by the existence of problems in the sphere of freedom of speech in our country, that the real reason for this pressure is the restoration of territorial integrity and sovereignty by Azerbaijan.

The current US administration has lost the right to talk about human rights, pursuing a policy of discrimination against Azerbaijanis on ethnic and religious grounds, selectively approaching the territorial integrity and sovereignty of countries, and supporting Armenia's policy of deportation, ethnic cleansing, aggression and occupation. We, as the West Azerbaijan Community, constantly feel this unfair approach and discrimination.

Moreover, the aggressive rhetoric of the US Embassy in response not only to the slightest criticism, but also to a simple question, demonstrates their indifference to “freedom of speech” and “diversity of opinions”, which they inappropriately speak about with pathos.

We demand that the current US administration stop interfering in the internal affairs of our country, put an end to discrimination against our people and abuse of human rights for political purposes.
