As the Western Azerbaijan Community, we strongly condemn yet another anti-Azerbaijani bill introduced on September 18, 2024 by pro-Armenian Congressman Adam Schiff, known for his anti-Azerbaijani stance in the US Congress. The bill is a provocative and erroneous move both in name and content.

Adam Schiff's traditional anti-Azerbaijani stance and corrupt ties to the Armenian lobby, such as another corrupt Azerbaijanophobe, former Senator Bob Menendez, seriously question his integrity.

Considering that the Karabakh Armenians rejected the Azerbaijani state's offers of reintegration and citizenship and freely left the country, this Schiff bill is based on slander.

Adam Schiff ignored and even supported the forced ethnic cleansing of 300,000 Azerbaijanis from Armenia and 700,000 Azerbaijanis from long-occupied territories of Azerbaijan, as well as hundreds of billions of US dollars in damage to the property, economy and cultural heritage of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijanis. All this shows that the presented bill is an attempt to blackmail Azerbaijan. This move is also aimed at dealing a serious blow to US-Azerbaijani relations.

As the Western Azerbaijan Community, we demand that the US Congress reject this provocative bill and investigate Adam Schiff's corrupt ties with the Armenian lobby.
