Statement on France's simple attempts to tarnish Azerbaijan's image

The Western Azerbaijan Community condemns France's futile attempts to damage Azerbaijan's image, which has been strengthened on the eve of COP29.

Increasingly desperate due to its failures, France is resorting to cheap provocations. The latest example of such a provocation is the show of the Deputy Mayor of Bordeaux Laurent Guillaume traveling around Europe on an electric bicycle under the pretext of participating in COP29. This is a continuation of the cheap show that mayors of French cities built around the Lachin crossing last year. The fact that France is resorting to such superficial and primitive attempts shows how weak and mistaken its position is.

The Western Azerbaijan Community calls on the international community not to believe in such cheap shows and to support our country against the background of the important role that Azerbaijan plays in solving global problems related to climate change.
