Statement regarding the situation around the park where the monument of Khurshidbanu Natavan is located in Evian, France

The situation in France around the park where the monument to Khurshidbanu Natavan is located shows that the Azerbaijanophobia that has gripped French society has already reached an absurd level.

The community of West Azerbaijan strongly condemns this act of vandalism, destruction of cultural heritage, and Islamophobia and calls on UNESCO to immediately respond to this issue.

Natavan's tomb was destroyed during the occupation. Today, the threat to demolish the Natavan monument in France demonstrates what "common values" Armenian and French society have. Racist French politicians, deputies, mayors, and journalists who accuse Azerbaijan of allegedly "destroying Armenian heritage" in the Karabakh region should be ashamed.

But regardless of what France, which cannot get rid of the hotbed of racism, does, today the soul of Khan's daughter Natavan rejoices. Shusha, Khankendi, Aghdam, where she is buried, and the whole of Karabakh are free.
