Statement on provocation against Azerbaijan at the Paris Olympics

At the opening of the 2024 Paris Olympics, the host of the French public television channel France 2, representing the national teams of Armenia and Azerbaijan, voiced discriminatory political statements that contradict Olympic values ​​and international law.

This move, which was undoubtedly ordered by the French government, was an attempt to damage the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and inflame tensions in the region.

Considering also the disgraceful performances at the opening ceremony of the Olympics, which affected the feelings of billions of people, the rationality of the French side is completely questionable.

The Western Azerbaijan Community strongly condemns the provocation against Azerbaijan at the 2024 Paris Olympics and demands that France stop these actions.
