Armenian Foreign Ministry employee Edmond Marukyan made an illiterate, sloppy and provocative statement regarding the presidential elections held in Azerbaijan.

The official representative of Armenia, who tried to express claims regarding the legal renaming of the city, whose name was changed in Soviet times due to the Bolshevik Shaumyan, to Khankendi, should talk about the restoration of hundreds of Azerbaijani place names that were unfairly changed on the territory of his country.

I would like to bring to the attention of Manukyan, who is trying to accuse Azerbaijan of carrying out ethnic cleansing, that the Armenian government carried out real ethnic cleansing in Goyche, Zangezur, Daralayaz, Iravan and other places.

The community of Western Azerbaijan is confident that historical justice will be established - the Azerbaijanis expelled from Armenia will return to their homes with dignity, in peace and security.

The Armenian authorities, who often and hypocritically talk about peace, should put an end to the activities of “diplomats” like E. Marukyan, who think like Vardan Oskanyan, Arman Tatoyan, Artak Beglaryan, that threaten the sovereignty of Azerbaijan, and create conditions for the return of Western Azerbaijanis.
