Statement regarding the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan

The latest statements by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan in Brussels are another example of hypocrisy. “There is no need to create a new border line,” the Armenian minister somehow “forgets” that his country violated the Almaty Declaration, which was recently discussed, and in fact sought to create a new border line, maintaining the territories of Azerbaijan under occupation.

For 30 years, the border of Armenia passed through Agdam, Fizuli, and the same Ararat Mirzoyan in the first days of the Patriotic War said: “We are strong.” We will win. “Let there be love for the Armenian army,” he made loud statements in support of the occupation. It is disgusting that, having hit their heads on a stone, Armenian officials now have a depressed image.

Armenia's discussion with the European Union on the issue of “protecting the Armenian cultural heritage in Karabakh” poses a clear threat to the sovereignty of our country. Ararat Mirzoyan should take part in sending a UNESCO mission to Armenia to protect the cultural heritage of the Azerbaijani people.
