French MEP Nathalie Loiseau, who traditionally demonstrates a biased attitude towards Azerbaijan, voiced opinions that undermine the peace process in an interview with the Armenian press agency “Armenpress”.
In the interview, the French politician, on the one hand, is allegedly concerned about the sovereignty of Armenia, and on the other hand, lectures it, which she calls a sovereign country, on what position to take in negotiations with Azerbaijan.
N. Loiseau calls on Armenia not to discuss the issue of the right of Western Azerbaijanis to return and the opening of regional communications and clearly demonstrates that her true intention is to hinder the establishment of lasting peace between the two countries.
The MP once again demonstrates an unlawful approach by putting forward unfounded demands for the release of persons suspected of committing numerous war crimes and crimes against humanity, including the Khojaly genocide.
All this once again proves the discriminatory approach of N. Loiseau and the fact that she is against peace. This also shows how wrong it is to entrust her with the role of Deputy Head of the Delegation for Relations of the European Parliament with the South Caucasus countries.
The West Azerbaijan Community condemns N. Loiseau's views against the right of Azerbaijanis to return and peace.
