The French channel ARTE showed a documentary full of slander and libel against Azerbaijan, such as: "Azerbaijanis and Turks are two brotherly nations and are capable of committing the same atrocities."
Recently, during COP29, we witnessed a dirty campaign against Azerbaijan by a number of Western media. Those who falsely call themselves independent media and shout about "freedom of speech" have become a tool in the hands of Azerbaijanophobic and Islamophobic political circles. Unfortunately, some Western media continue to spread tales about "Christian Armenia and Muslim Azerbaijan" and force societies to approach this issue exclusively from the standpoint of ethnic and religious fanaticism.
The aforementioned documentary is another example of how racism and hatred towards Azerbaijan have spread throughout all spheres of French society in the 21st century. Regular petty statements by the self-proclaimed diplomat of the French ambassador to Armenia, aimed at Azerbaijan, disgracing his country, “inspiring” the radical part of Armenian society, along with racism, show the strong degradation of the political establishment of France.
