Western Azerbaijan Community

The Western Azerbaijan Community condemns Lithuania's systematic and consistent prejudice against Azerbaijan after the Patriotic War and regrets that this country demonstrates a selective approach to issues such as territorial integrity, sovereignty and separatism.

The Western Azerbaijan Community calls on Lithuania not to interfere in Azerbaijan's internal affairs and focus on its own problems related to ethnic minorities instead.

“The Western Azerbaijan community believes that if Lithuania considers itself a “herald of justice”, then it should take advantage of its close relations with Armenia, a country it considers a friend, which kept the territories of Azerbaijan under occupation for 30 years and carried out ethnic cleansing, to raise the issue of the return of Western Azerbaijanis to their ancestral lands with official Yerevan,” the Community said.
